In any case, have you guys been to any other Anytime outlets near the West? Are they any better than the one in Yew Tee or are they all equally deprived of quality powerlifting equipment?Pay $28/Month to Access 12,200+ Gyms and More With the Active&Fit Direct TM Program I suppose it really is my own doing that I rushed into signing a contract with them and I really regret this decision now. That said, I also understand that I made a rash decision and am bound by the contract. Any advice if I can do so legally (I don't want to be sued or sent to jail for this). In this light I would also like to ask if any of you have successfully terminated a membership from Anytime Fitness before. As such I have no choice but to finish up my contract, which I really don't want to. Alas! I could only terminate the contract (and pay the $100 fee to do so) if I had proof that I was going to move abroad or had a permanent injury. So I tried to terminate the contract, thinking that I had to pay only a $100 dollar fee. I can get a 12 month membership at Gymboxx for ~$60 and they have twice the number of equipment and space. The fact that they are charging me $92/month is also something I cannot get over, especially if the above is what they are offering me. Plus, powerlifting workouts usually take very long and that equates to plenty of wasted time. I'm sure you can see what I'm trying to say - as long as more than one person wants to do either bench, deadlift or squats, the power rack will be in use and all the others who weren't there first will have to wait for said individual to finish (and I have already experienced this). To make matters worse, there is only ONE barbell in the gym, which is also of poor quality. ![]() Moreover, there is a grand total of ONE power rack and ZERO benchpresses. Ventilation is also poor and it felt really humid and musty when I did my squads the previous night. ![]() For one, it is tiny and makes you feel claustrophobic. I am an avid powerlifter and the Yew Tee gym is absolutely atrocious for powerlifting. I have to say, I really regret signing for Anytime. I think I was quite in a rush to sign for a new gym as my previous contract with PURE Fitness had recently expired and signed it without thinking too much about it (my bad). I recently signed for Anytime Fitness at Yew Tee CC for a commitment period of 12 months, for ~$92/month. Desperately need the opinions from you guys. Hi all, first time posting here, so please forgive me if I flout any of the usual conventions on this forum.
